皆さんはよくお酒を飲みますか？オーストラリアはとても暑い国なので、オーストラリア人は冷たいビールを飲むのが大好きです。
オーストラリアは実は、世界で5番目にビールを飲んでいる国です。これは、アメリカと日本より高いんですよ！
特に冷たいビールが好きだから、バーベキューやビーチに行く時には、氷が入った「Esky」というボックスを持っていきます。Eskyの中にビールを入れると、どこでも冷たいビールが飲めます。
さて、それではオーストラリアの人気ビールTOP 3を紹介します！
第3位：JAMES BOAG’S(ジェームズボーグズ)
アルコール度数：5%
第3位は、「ジェームズボーグズ」です。「J. Boag & Son」は1883年にタスマニアで創立されて、今もタスマニアのローンセストンという町で作られています。
この会社は2007年に、日本のキリンビバレッジの子会社になりました。ビールの色はちょっと暗くて、味は甘くてドライです。ちなみに、僕の家族はこのビールが一番好きらしいです。
第2位：VICTORIA BITTER(ビクトリアビッター)
アルコール度数：4.90%
第2位は、ビクトリアビッターという有名なビールです。これは1890年からオーストラリアで販売されています。色はゴールドで、香りがとても強いです。また、味は苦くてドライです。このビールは、クリケットを見ている時に合うお酒というイメージがあります。
第1位：XXXX GOLD(フォールエックスゴールド)
アルコール度数：3.50%
フォールエックスというビールは2012年に発売されたのですが、すぐにオーストラリアで一番人気になりました！元々はクイーンズランド州で作っていますが、2009年にキリンビバレッジの子会社になりました。アルコール度数からもわかりますが、お酒としては薄いです。味は、甘いイーストの味がします。

Therefore, Japanese drinkers may not be satisfied with weaker beer.
We would be harshly punished if we drink liquors and drive a car. So, when we drink beer or wine, we cannot drive a car. When I went to a winery in the suburbs of Sydney, Australians drank several glasses of wine, bought a dozen of wine and drove home. I wonder if they might be caught by a police officer for drunk-driving.

Yes, like in Japan, there are very strict rules for drunk driving in Australia. If caught, you are fined and given ‘demerit points’ on your drivers license. Once you get a certain number of these points, your license is suspended and you cannot drive.
I am pleased to hear that you had the opportunity to visit an Australian winery. Australia is famous around the world for its wine varieties and the Hunter Valley winery region north of Sydney has become a popular tourist destination.
